Ferretti Construction is a family business that has been active in industrial construction and installation since 1903.

The fifth generation of the Ferretti family has taken up the legacy built project after project, from 1903 to today. In this new chapter of our history, we carry forward the values of competence and dedication that have enabled the company to operate internationally in a constantly evolving market. This is how tradition becomes innovation, while preserving our identity as a family-owned business with a truly global reach.

1903

The first generation of the Ferretti family enters the industrial construction sector.

1983

Ferretti develops a new technological model for revamping industrial foundations: with time savings of 75% the standards in the industrial construction sector are redefined.

1984

Ferretti signs the first Fast-Track project for the Arcore steel mills, to revamp a pipe mill.

1989

The group carries out engineering and civil works at the Arvedi factory in Cremona, the first in the world to use In-line Strip Production technology.

1992

Ferretti goes beyond national borders when it opens new sites in North Africa and between Mexico and the USA.

1994

Ferretti exports Fast-Track to the world when it signs the Rolling Mill project at the Erdemir factory in Turkey.

2004

The first Turn-Key solution is for the Hadeed Al Jubail plant in Arabia, in consortium with a major technological supplier.

2006

In Bulgaria, the group founds Value Engineering, an international company with engineers trained in-house at the Italian site.

2008-2010

Ferretti signs eight simultaneous turnkey projects to upgrade the LISCO steel plant in Libya.

2014

Ferretti opens the EPCM division. A new service to meet the high global demand for engineering, supervision and project management projects.

2021

Renewal and expansion of the mechanical installation department: new expertise, state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.

2022

Ferretti Construction strengthens its presence in the USA by opening a site in Houston and completing several civil and mechanical projects.

2023

Record revamping times for Alfa Acciai with, 5,500 m3 of foundations demolished and 4,500 m3 of new foundations built.

2024

Ferretti strengthens its presence in Europe by acquiring the important Hot Strip Mill Revamping project for ThyssenKrupp Duisburg.
